　The EU Bus visited Ito Campus on Wednesday, June 6th, 2012 as part of the “EU in Japan Roadshow.” This event is sponsored by the Delegation of the European Union to Japan in order to promote recognition of the EU in Japan. The large promotional bus has toured from Sendai to Saga.
　Distinguishable by its original EU design, the bus parked in front of the library at Ito Campus for an hour on June 6th. The head of Press, Public and Cultural Affairs for the Delegation of the European Union to Japan and a PR team comprised of students from Belgium handed out cartoons explaining the basics of the EU, as well as promotional goods, to students and faculty at our university. In addition, students who gathered around the bus heard explanations from students on the PR team regarding the variety of cultures within the EU member states and the Erasmus Mundus (the EU student exchange program). It was a good opportunity for them to become familiar with the EU.
