On September 25, 2024, the Kyushu University Commencement Fall 2024 was held at Shiiki Hall, Ito Campus. The university conferred degrees to 461 students, including 66 bachelor's degrees, 204 master's degrees, 2 professional degrees, and 189 doctoral degrees.

During the ceremony, President Ishibashi conferred degrees to representatives of each program. He then delivered the President¡¯s address, in which he encouraged the graduates, saying, "To our degree recipients today, your academic journey must have been filled with unparalleled challenges. We, the faculty and staff of Kyushu University, respect your fortitude and resilience, and are proud of your academic achievements. Now, step out into the world and seek your bright future. Do not fear the difficulties and challenges you face. We are always the biggest supporters of your new journey."

Following this, on behalf of the graduates, Gyawali Babita, a doctoral student from the Graduate School of Information Science and Electrical Engineering, gave a brief reply: "I am optimistic that the quality of education and the atmosphere of scientific innovation and research here will continue to flourish even more. As I embark on my next adventure, I firmly believe that Kyushu University will always be a source of support and inspiration when challenges arise."

The commencement ceremony concluded in an atmosphere of warmth and celebration.
