Competing against 1,130 prominent universities in 75 countries across the world, Kyushu University has once again secured its place in each of the five broad subject areas in the latest QS World University Rankings by Subject.

QS also ranks 1,130 institutions in 48 individual subject areas. KyushuU was ranked in the global top 100 for 7 such areas, with the 23rd place in Mineral and Mining Engineering, and the 46th in Classics and Ancient History. KyushuU is the only Asian university to feature in the top 50 of the Classics category.
