On March 25, 2016 (Friday), the Kyushu University Commencement Ceremony was held at SHIIKI HALL for 2,599 undergraduate students. Following the celebration concert by Kyudai Philharmonic Orchestra, President Kubo delivered a farewell address and conferred degrees on the representatives of the graduating students from each school and from the 21st Century Program.
Mr. Hiroki Suganuma gave a speech as a representative of the graduating students.
After the ceremony for undergraduate students, the Commencement Ceremony for graduate students was held on the same day and 2,223 graduate students were conferred with Master's, Doctoral and First professional degrees.
