We are deeply saddened by the loss of life caused by the earthquakes that struck Taiwan on April 3, 2024. The Kyushu University community extends its heartfelt condolences to those who lost their lives and their families, and its deepest sympathies to those affected by this tragedy.

Kyushu University has a long history of educational and research exchanges with students, researchers, and technicians in Taiwan.

The University will make every possible effort to provide support in cooperation with related organizations in Japan and abroad.　

We sincerely hope for the earliest possible recovery for those affected by the disaster and for the restoration and recovery of the affected areas.
